Vermillion Grand Opening!

Vermillion is about a Japanese gamer and his Russian friend in the VRMMO 『Demondal』. The game developers made it their priority to make the game as realistic as possible. It was not for the weak hearted. The player population reflected as such. Only the hardcore gamers played it. One day, the duo encountered something strange and found themselves stuck inside the game!

There are no logout buttons in reality. If there is no more logout button, is it still a game?

Hey everyone! Welcome to the NanoDesu Translation of Vermillion! My name is Cyneris, the translator of this novel. Even though this is my first translation project I hope that you all enjoy it nonetheless. I’m more than glad to have our editor, Kuro-pi, along for the ride.

Before you all start your reading, I want to let you know that this translation is the web novel, not the light novel. Therefore, this translation will not be divided into volumes, only chapters. For those of you that have read the light novel version there may be some changes, be it minor or major. Without further adieu, thank you for stopping by and enjoy reading!

  1. I’m really glad that you’re translating the web novel version! At first I was excited to see how this already pretty good story got polished for a professional adaptation, but I was sorely disappointed to see that the only real changes were pandering to a typical male audience. Truly disappointing…

But yeah! Web novel translation here! You rock! XD

  3. Maybe you should say somewhere (like in the “about” page) that the sub-title “L’étranger a l’arc rouge” is French for “The stranger with the red bow” (it is actually correct French which is as rare as correct English in web/light novels).
